Essengen-5 NO PG Fast Dry is a professionally formulated, hypoallergenic, non-greasy, fast-drying 5% minoxidil solution. It is suitable for both men and women who are allergic to regular liquid minoxidil products such as Rogaine or Kirkland due to propylene glycol (PG). This formula is completely PG-free, using glycerin as the delivery vehicle to minimize scalp irritation. Approximately 20% of users are sensitive to PG.
This product is also ideal for users who dislike the greasiness of traditional liquid minoxidil and prefer a clean, fast-drying solution.
New: Although glycerin-based formulations are often associated with slow absorption and greasiness, we significantly improved this formula to make it dry extremely fast. We are confident this is the fastest-drying and cleanest 5% minoxidil solution (liquid or foam) currently available. It dries even faster than 5% minoxidil foam. This product was previously called Essengen-5 NO PG and was renamed Essengen-5 NO PG Fast Dry in January 2018 after the formulation upgrade.
If you are looking for a 5% minoxidil–only product (without azelaic acid, finasteride, or other additives) that is clean, non-greasy, fast drying, and suitable for sensitive scalp or skin, this product is an excellent choice. As a liquid solution, it provides better penetration and absorption than minoxidil foam.

Amazing product! Absolutely NO irritation and it dries within a few minutes. For the past 6 months, I have pulverized Ten (1 mg) Finasteride pills into each bottle of EssenGen-5 No PG Fast Dry, resulting in 5% Minox + 0.16 mg Finasteride (a 0.016% Finasteride topical solution), applied once per day, only 1 ML per day. I tried 2 MLs but it was too much Minox for me, and it was causing really bad headaches, but, went down to 1 ML and the headaches went away instantly. I had my doubts, but, it is actually working, my density has greatly improved in only 6 months, can barely see the bald spot now, plus NO SEXUAL SIDE EFFECTS due to only having 1/6th of a Finasteride Pill per day mixed in the topical, just enough to have positive hair outcomes without side effects. Excellent product, highly recommended, especially if making your own hair topical formulation with pulverized Fin.

My daughter has Alopecia areata from the age of 2. We tried nature to take its course but she got really bold. We tried different things, We use Minoxidil EssenGen-5 NO PG FAST DRY. In Europa they cant take te pg out so thats wy we order here because of her young age. We use it with a creme 5 times a week to keep her head hydrated and it hase vitamine D in it. We know for sure the Minoxidil keeps here hair in longer so it really grows a good length now. We use it for over 2 years now. We tried to stop or use a little bit but then her hair fals out more. The only downside is that you get a little unwanted hair but it doesn’t way against being bold.
We wil keep ordering it because she finally looks normal now and we can cover the little bold spots that she hase now and you cant see that she has alopecia anymore.

I have tried minoxdil from 6 different brands including both Foam / Liquid, but I was highly allergic to all. I spend alot of money trying each one of them and ended up throwing them after 3-5 days of usage.

Been using for 3 months, hair is much fuller through out. Massive increase in scalp density, can no longer see my skin through my hair. Hairline has a lot of fine regrowth which is slowly getting thicker. I no longer feel I need to wear a hate everywhere.
I have used topical minoxidil for over 10 years. Approximately 9 months ago I noticed significantly more greasiness with the Rogaine, Kirkland and other generic formulations. After searching online I located this product which I have found very useful. There is none of the greasiness that weighted down my extremely fine hair.
