Latanoprost is a prostaglandin analogue. It has been widely used to treat eyelash alopecia to increase thickness, length, and number of eyelashes.  

Randomized double blind placebo controlled pilot studies have also shown that Latanoprost is useful in stimulating hair follicle activity and treating hair loss.
