Hair loss not only affects men, but women as well. Unfortunately, the treatment for women's hair loss is more limited than men. Men have two weapons in the arsenal: minoxidil and finassteride. Since women can't use finasteride, minoxidil is the only efffective means to treat female hair loss. If your hair loss is not so serious, and your main goal is to stop any further hair loss, you can use a hair loss shampoo like Lipogaine big 3 shamoo. If your goal is regrow your hair back, a minoxidil is a must. There are a number of different brands of minoxidil product for women. You can read the complete list of minoxidil products in this blog ( Hair-loss-treatment-and-products for men and women). Lipogaine for women get the higest scrore among all the minoxidil products for women. I will explain why below.
Overview of Lipogaine for Women:
I looked high and low for any and every product which would stimulate my hair follicles into gaining strength and hold. I was recommended this product by a friend, whose husband had tried this for his hair loss problem and was quite satisfied with the results. There was nothing to lose (or nothing further to lose) so I thought of giving it a try. Lo and behold, I could feel the difference in but a few days, as my (remaining) hair was gaining strength and my hair loss had reduced considerably. My hair seemed healthier and was regaining the glossy sheen of yesteryears.
Here is how Lipogaine works; there is a hormone dihydrotestosterone (DHT) which starts to build up around the hair follicle, depriving it of nutrition. The follicles eventually shrink and fall out. There are only two ways of retaining hair, reducing the level of DHT or stimulate hair growth. With its mix of ingredients, Lipogaine does both. It not only blocks DHT, but also induces hair to regrow, by combining minoxidil with other natural DHT blockers into one solution. I looked into each ingredient Lipogaine uses (no harm in doing a background check now) and was pleasantly surprised that each ingredient has been clinically proven to be very effective for hair regrowth as well as hampering the buildup of DHT. I already had been advised by a trusted friend to use this product, I went on to read other reviews on Amazon to see for myself how Lipogaine has satisfied a score of its customers. Now how could I resist myself after all that research!
Key Ingredients:
Minoxidil
Saw Palmetto (Serenoa repens or Sabal serrulata)
Ketoconazole
Emu Oil
Procyanidin Oligomers

Additional Ingredients:
Some ingredients that Lipogaine uses in order to enhance its efficacy in hair regrowth while reducing hair loss, not used in other similar products are:
Biotin
Retinol
AzetinolTM
Lipogaine for Women Vs What I used before Lipogaine:
It is interesting to point out that the additional ingredients are what constitute as the main difference between Lipogaine and other products. Although they may not really seem to matter at first glance, but after my research I realized, just how much each ingredient actually works to enhance the efficacy of the product as a whole. Who knew that minoxidil alone could not be as effective if not combined with retinol, as the combination of the two has far better results of improving scalp condition than minoxidil alone. This is because the mixture allows for deeper penetration of minoxidil in the skin.
Even AzenitolTM (a trade mark of Lipogaine) is an added ingredient which is extracted from natural grains. Due to its properties containing fatty acids such as linoleic acid, oleic acid, and vitamin A, it becomes a strong DHT blocker. Discussing Lipogaine with another friend (who is a beautician no less) she raved about the addition of biotin. It’s long been considered as the most important vitamin for healthier and stronger hair by beauticians far and wide.
Even my home remedies did not contain these key ingredients to expedite the process of hair regrowth, or for that matter reduce hair fall in the first place. Availability of each individual component is hard to come by and can be more expensive to hunt down. Lipogaine was a handy solution in this regard. It combined all these amazing ingredients to make one convenient solution.
How To Use:
It is a fairly straightforward process. The solution should be applied to dried hair and can be washed about three hours later. With the dropper (included in the pack) fill the required amount of Lipogaine and squeeze the solution out around the affected area. Try not to let the liquid run off your head and do let it come into contact with your scalp. Make sure about this bit as it has to seep into the skin to be effective. Use your fingers to massage the area if need be. All in all, it is a painless and quick process, and the best part of it all – it does not smell! Oh the potions I have tried to regain my hair strength have been in high numbers, the smell of some, left me in tears! Because I do not have enough time at any other hour of the day, I apply Lipogaine before going to bed and wash it off in the morning. This is to avoid having the residue that is left behind (although hardly noticeable – but I take this precaution anyway).
Final Verdict:
Of all the products I have thus far used, I have to say Lipogaine has had the most profound and long lasting result. As already compared earlier, although Rogaine did work, it was not as effective in the end and my happiness was short lived. For that matter even my home remedies seemed to work briefly. Lipogaine on the other hand proved to be more cost effective and worked wonders with my tresses. My final verdict? Well I am glad my friend suggested this to me. It has been a blessing for me. So I will bring my gavel down on this one as TRIED AND TESTED AND TO BE USED AGAIN!
